Jon Mayes: I live in Asheville, NC with my brilliant, kind and amazingly beautiful wife, Linda-Marie Barrett, Executive Director of SIBA, the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance. I have been a Publishers Representative and bookstore owner and manager for most of my adult life. I was born in the small village of Kintbury in England. I am vegetarian and secular humanist in belief. If I could go back in time it would be to the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt to have a conversation with the pharaoh Hatshepsut.
